9th Annual Water Conservation Showcase
Don't miss the largest water conservation showcase in California, coming this March to San Francisco. Since 2004, the Water Conservation Showcase has featured experts from across the nation and innovative products and services to address one of the largest concerns of Californians: water. The showcase is brought to you by the U.S. Green Building Council (Northern California Chapter), PG&E and EBMUD.
- Explore cutting edge water-conserving technologies and strategies through expert-led presentations and exhibits.
- Lean about the financial incentives and rebates from regional water districts.
- Engage in cross-industry dialogue with government agencies, private and public organizations, and community leaders.
Water conservation topics include policies, rebates, business case studies, treatment innovations, storm-water management, low impact development, water supply history and future, and water reuse solutions.

Ruth Bancroft Garden Lecture Series
This exciting set of speaker events highlights topics including growing vegetables, herbs and cutting flowers; choosing colors for your garden that work together; and creating stunning succulent gardens and succulent container displays using these exceptionally water-wise plants. Learn more about water-wise and sustainable gardening in the Bay Area. General admission: $25; Ruth Bancroft and Garden Conservancy members: $20.

Water-Wise, Sustainable Gardening Programs at The Gardens at Heather Farm
The Gardens at Heather Farm in Walnut Creek begins a new series of adult education programs on gardening, with a wide range of topics including garden design, a pruning workshop, mulch and soils and water conserving container plantings.
Additionally, the 2012 Speaker Series features Elizabeth Murray, author, photographer and painter; Amy Stewart, award-winning author of five books on the perils and pleasures of the natural world; and Clare Cooper Marcus, Professor Emeritus in the Departments of Architecture and Landscape Architecture at the University of California, Berkeley.

Urban Farmer Store Winter Classes

EBMUD is hosting the 2012 Construction Management Training for Small Business course, in partnership with Turner Construction Company, Union Bank and the Builders Exchange of Alameda County.
Art Exhibition
