Mokelumne/Amador/Calaveras Integrated Regional Water Management Plan Update

The Upper Mokelumne River Watershed Authority (UMRWA) is leading an effort to prepare an update to the Mokelumne/Amador/Calaveras Integrated Regional Water Management Plan.  EBMUD, as an UMRWA member, is participating in that effort.

The 2006 Mokelumne/Amador/Calaveras Integrated Regional Water Management Plan (MAC IRWMP) responds to integrated regional planning guidelines and criteria established by the Department of Water Resources in conjunction with its administration of the Proposition 50, Chapter 8 grant program. With the subsequent passage of Proposition 84, the Department of Water Resources is revising its regional planning guidelines and criteria; which necessitates an update of the MAC IRWMP.

To ensure that the updated MAC IRWMP reflects the interests of various stakeholders, UMRWA is encouraging public input.
