Berryman South Reservoir Seismic Upgrade

EBMUD has scheduled the seismic upgrade of Berryman South Reservoir, located at 7485 Claremont Avenue in Oakland near the Berkeley border.

Berryman South Reservoir has been in operation continuously since 1957 and serves customers in parts of Berkeley and Oakland. The facility sits near a fault zone and requires upgrades to both the reservoir and the adjacent hillside to ensure EBMUD's ability to deliver water in this region following a major seismic event.
