  • Installing a new South 30 Rate Control Station (within the new pumping plant structure)
  • Rehabilitating the El Portal Reservoir

Workplan and Schedule

In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act, EBMUD will prepare and file a Notice of Exemption with Alameda County.

Design of the project began in June 2011 and will take about 1-1/2 years to complete. Project construction is estimated to begin in 2013 and is also expected to take about 1-1/2 years.
